1 rare white peahen. 1 regular peahen. 1 young peacock. 1 mature peacock. All living in a purpose built aviary @ the PaPWFT. Netting above the door was cut open and all the birds were stolen.
The number of endangered birds and waterfowl as follows be highlighted along with the facts of the PaPWFT being a National Heritage Site under the National Trust Act: The only Conservation organisation located within an industrial complex in the WORLD. The only Conservation organisation of its kind in our REGION. The Second oldest waterfowl reserve in the world after the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, Slimbridge, UK, founded by Sir Peter Scott, who designed the PaPWFT’s logo. The Patron of the Heritage Petroleum Company Ltd is the Patron of the PaPWFT.
The following endangered waterfowl and birds were stolen from the Trust over World Environment Day. Paria Company Security officers are aware of this horrendous theft.
